Where is the capybara hiding?
Capydoku is a cozy logic puzzle you solve by reasoning, never by guessing.
Read the clues, rule out the squares that cannot work, and place every
capybara in exactly the right spot.
HOW IT PLAYS
Every puzzle is a coloured grid with one simple promise: there is exactly one
capybara in each row, each column, and each colour region. Tap once to cross a
square off. Tap again to place a capybara. That is the whole game — and it
gets deliciously hard.
Later levels add rules on top: capybaras refuse to stand next to each other,
not even diagonally, and numbered squares tell you exactly how many capybaras
are hiding around them, minesweeper style.
EVERY PUZZLE HAS ONE ANSWER
Every level is verified by a solver before it ships, so there is always a
single solution and always a logical path to it. You will never be asked to
guess, and you will never hit a dead end that was not your own mistake.
COLLECT 30 MUTANT CAPYBARAS
Earn stars, fill the chest meter, and crack it open. Inside are mutation
capybaras — fire, ice, galaxy, phoenix, angel — plus costumed ones in ninja,
chef, and pirate outfits. Duplicates become DNA shards that upgrade the cards
you already own. Set any capybara you unlock as the mascot who sits on your
board while you play.
PLAY ANYWHERE
No account and no sign-in. Every puzzle plays offline, so Capydoku works on a
plane, on the metro, and in the basement with no signal. Your progress is saved
on your own device, never on a server.
The app sends anonymous usage statistics to help us see which levels are too
hard — you can switch that off in Settings, and the game plays exactly the
same either way.
200 handcrafted levels, from gentle 5x5 grids up to demanding 9x9 boards.
