About this app

This application is exclusively for NEC Platforms' Aterm series.
Easily and conveniently manage your Wi-Fi environment from your smartphone.

▼Visualize and control your home network (Home Network Link function)
By registering your Aterm in this application, you can check information about the Aterm and connected devices (such as PCs).
You can also reboot your Aterm, update its firmware, and change the wireless channel.

▼Provide solutions to poor signal strength (Home Network Link function)
The app displays areas of poor wireless performance and provides solutions.

▼Configure various Aterm settings from your smartphone or tablet (Aterm Setup Assist function)
You can configure and manage your home Aterm while connected to Wi-Fi.
Search for Aterms on your network and display links to each function page.
*To use this function, your device and Aterm must be connected to the same network.

▼Visualize Wi-Fi Signal Strength/Communication Status (Heat Map Feature)
You can visualize Wi-Fi signal strength and communication status using the heat map feature.
Compatible with routers from other manufacturers.
*Signal strength and communication status cannot be measured simultaneously.
*To use Wi-Fi communication status visualization, you need two smartphones with this app (ver. 3.0.X or higher) installed.
The first smartphone acts as the speed measurement server, and the second smartphone acts as the speed measurement client. The app measures communication speed via a Wi-Fi access point. (This is a communication measurement between devices within a LAN, not an actual Internet speed measurement. Communication speed is affected by the smartphone's performance and the Wi-Fi standard connected.)
*To use this feature, your device and Aterm must be connected to the same network.

▼Receive notifications from Aterm via push notification (Push Notification Feature)
When Aterm has a notification, you will receive a push notification in this app.

▼Initial Setup Support (Initial Setup Wizard)
Routers that support the Initial Setup Wizard can be configured to connect to the Internet.

▼Troubleshooting (Troubleshooting)
When troubleshooting a router, select from multiple options to isolate the problem. As you make your selections, solutions and workarounds are suggested.

- Group management of Aterms in multiple locations.
- Display of network diagrams.
　*Network diagrams cannot be displayed if the Aterm WX3600HP is used as the base unit.

- Account registration is required to activate the Home Network Link function.

- During initial setup, your smartphone must be connected to the same network as the target Aterm.
- When creating a new account, the system will send you an email containing an identity verification code.
- If you have enabled spam filtering on your device, you may not be able to receive this email.
- Please make sure you can receive emails from [e-mail].
・In rare cases, it has been reported that registering group names, device names, and client device names using characters other than alphanumeric characters can result in inability to log in to the app. We recommend registering using alphanumeric characters.
