By reading the "Easy QR Start QR Code" attached to the product with the application, you can easily configure the Wi-Fi connection settings of the Aterm series base unit.
"Easy QR Start QR Code" encrypts the information of network name (SSID) and encryption key (password), and is not only easy to operate, but also considers security.
For Aterm products that support the "Easy QR Start 2" function, Wi-Fi connection and Internet connection settings can be performed with the application.

-The location of the "Easy QR Start QR Code" used for reading differs depending on the product. Check the attachment location in the instruction manual of each product.
・ QR codes may not be recognized by cameras without the auto focus function or cameras with low resolution.
・ When using the enlarged display function of smartphone or tablet, the display of the QR code reading frame in the camera view screen may be shifted from the center of the screen. Please return to normal display and execute this application again.
・ If it is difficult to read the QR code with the camera of your terminal, try the following.
-Adjust the camera position so that it is perpendicular to the QR code.
-Adjust so that ceiling lights etc. are not reflected in the QR code when scanning.
-Scan in a bright place. (Avoid places that are too bright such as direct sunlight.)
-Aterm SSID and encryption key can be set with default values. It cannot be set if it has been changed from the initial value.
・ Check that the firmware of the connected Aterm is the latest. If not, please upgrade.
・ This cannot be set when the product is operating in Remote Unit mode or Repeater mode.
・ If the QR code cannot be recognized or the application cannot be downloaded, manually configure the Wi-Fi settings from your smartphone or tablet. See the Aterm manual for detailed settings.
○ "Easy QR Start 2" only
・ In the case of PPPoE router mode, you need to enter ID / password.
・ When setting up PPPoE in Internet connection settings, it may take about 10 minutes until all settings are completed.
-If an IP address conflict is detected when setting up an Internet connection, the setting may fail. In that case, please set on the Aterm WEB setting screen.
-If the setting has been changed, review the setting information. Or initialize Aterm, restore the factory settings and run the app again.
・ Settings may fail in an environment where other access points with connection settings are nearby. In that case, turn off the power of the access points other than the Aterm to set.
-In the bridge mode, access point mode, and multi-stage connection of the router, Internet connection settings cannot be made correctly (Wi-Fi settings can be made).
-After restarting the router, smartphones that do not complete Wi-Fi connection cannot be connected to the Internet. (Wi-Fi connection setting is possible)
