About this app

If you have questions, problems, feedback, please send me an email.

Rainy Days shows you weather radar doppler observations from multiple sources on a fully interactive map. You can zoom in, pan and search for locations.

Rainy Days uses multiple sources of data, not one map for the whole world. This gives you the most recent data for your location. Therefore, Rainy Days works best when zooming in to your local area.

Rainy Days uses real doppler observations and only falls back to satellite sourced data for areas without any doppler radars present.

Predict the weather with Rainy Days: see how storms are moving to see if they are heading for you.

Coverage: Europe, Scandinavia, USA incl Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Africa, Australia

Note: shows rain (radar reflectivity), not clouds!

If something is not working on your device, please send me an email, adding a comment doesn't give me enough information to fix any bugs!

I figure I should review this app now since I've used it for years and years. It's a great app. I wish I could more deeply fine tune the animation, like custom set the interval for updates and set the begin time in hours (it would be awesome to see the last 24 hours of radar, for example). This would certainly get me into the app more often, because it would be more useful. But it's still a great app and I really like it.

This used to be my favorite weather radar app but there is apparently a problem with the radar server. Radar data no longer loads and you just get a blank map. When it works it is the best though. (Updated: Hugo apparently fixed the problem. Working well now.)

User for many years. I would give 5 stars but just now I received the most annoying popup imaginable. I understand you need to ask about cookies. I understand you present an "accept all" button. But I do not want to give consent to anyone. That means clicking and scrolling through a near endless list, unchecking a gazillion boxes. Give the user also a "deny all" button please. I understand the reason you don't, but I hate it. Present me the popup 1 more time and your app is gone from my phone!

If you don't want to see ads (the equivalent of deny all) then there is and has been an option in settings for a one time upgrade. I'll see if I can change this flow somehow to make it clear that when you upgrade the use of cookies is not applicable; it's only used for showing advertising, which pays for running the app.

What's new

* Fixed an issue where upgrade to ad-free is not detected correctly
* Fixed an issue where the EU consent dialog would been shown too often when no ads can be shown. Please consider upgrading to ad-free if you do not want to consent to have ads displayed in the app!
