Twelve skills to develop, dozens of jobs to master, a lifestyle to upgrade — from sleeping in the gutter to an orbital penthouse, from scrap rations to gene-tailored cuisine. Hire companions: an AI strategist, a chrome-plated bodyguard, a bonded partner who knows when to look away. Each one bends the numbers a little. Each one bends you a little, too.
