🐍 CORE GAMEPLAY
The beating heart of Neon Grow is the incredibly smooth snake movement performed on a 20×30 grid board. Your objective is simple: steer away from the restrictive walls and avoid colliding with your own growing tail. Remember, any collision costs you one valuable life. You will start fresh with a shorter snake while maintaining your accumulated score, keeping the challenge fair and exciting. You start each session with 3 lives. The snake head glows in a bright, vibrant cyan color, while the body shines in a distinct neon green, leaving a fading, beautiful trail behind every move you make.

⚡ THREE UNIQUE ITEM TYPES
Special items spawn randomly across the open cells of the grid to keep gameplay dynamic:
🔋 Energy — The most common pickup. Collecting this adds 5 points to your total and grows your snake by one segment.
🔮 Sphere — A highly valuable find with a mesmerizing magenta glow. This item grants 20 points and instantly extends your snake by two segments.
❄️ Slow — A strategic, tactical power-up with a cool cyan glow. Activating this grants a 5-second slowdown period, while the SLOW indicator appears prominently on your HUD.

📊 SCORE, LEVELS & SPEED
Your score rises consistently as you collect Energy and Sphere items. The game levels advance automatically—every 50 points earned pushes you to the next, more difficult level. Higher levels mean faster snake movement, requiring sharper reflexes. The HUD provides essential information, tracking your Score, Lives, Level, Time, and active SLOW status. The ultimate win target is 300 points. Reach that milestone and the game declares victory. You can also achieve a win by filling the entire grid until no empty cells remain.

🕹️ CONTROLS
Neon Grow supports two intuitive input methods:
▲▼◀▶ On-screen direction buttons for precise and reliable movement.
👆 Swipe gestures — horizontal swipes turn your snake left or right, while vertical swipes move it up or down.
⏸ Pause / Resume — Stop the action whenever you need a break. 🔄 Restart — Reset your score, lives, level, and timer for a fresh run.

💾 AUTOMATIC SESSION SAVING
Your progress is saved automatically throughout each run. Your score, lives, level, and elapsed time persist locally within the application data, so closing the app or moving it to the background ensures your session remains intact for when you return to play.

🏆 RESULTS & HISTORY
When a run concludes, the game shows a detailed results screen:
✅ Victory in neon green when you hit the 300-point mark or conquer the full grid.
❌ Game Over in neon magenta when all lives are spent.
Results display your Final Score, Time Played, Level Reached, your Personal Record across all your sessions, and your Recent Sessions — a list of your last 5 runs with score, level, duration, and outcome. Tap Play Again for a new session or Exit to close.
