The core idea of Paston is easy to pick up and hard to master. A glowing ring starts at the edge of the screen and shrinks toward the center button. Your job is to tap anywhere on the screen when the outer edge of the ring lines up with the target circle. Nail the timing and you get a Perfect hit worth three points. Land close to the mark and you get a Good hit worth one point. Tap too early or too late and the ring collapses, costing you one life.

Each round gives you a set number of lives. Easy mode starts with five lives and a slower ring, giving you room to practice your rhythm. Medium mode raises the speed and drops your lives to four, while Hard mode pushes your reflexes to the limit with a fast-shrinking ring and only three lives. The higher the difficulty, the more target hits you need to reach victory.

Paston includes three carefully tuned difficulty levels. Easy is great for practicing the rhythm and building confidence. Medium adds pressure with a faster ring and a higher target hit count. Hard is designed for players who want a serious reflex challenge. Each level has its own target hit count, shrink speed, and life count, so the experience stays fresh as you improve.

Pick a level from the dedicated levels screen, where your personal highest score for each difficulty is displayed. Try to beat your own record on every mode or push for a clean run with more perfect hits than misses.

💎 Score, Perfect Hits, and Crystals

Your score in Paston comes from successful hits. Perfect hits add three points, Good hits add one point, and reaching the target hit count triggers a Victory screen. The result screen shows your total score, the number of hits you landed, and how many perfect hits you achieved. Every score you collect also adds crystals to your balance, giving you a sense of long-term progress beyond a single round.

The game saves your highest score for each difficulty automatically, so you can always come back and try to raise the bar. There is no time limit, no hidden mechanics, and no surprises — just pure timing skill from start to finish.
