This is a reflex-driven endless runner built around simple input and consistent challenge.
Control a forward-moving character, avoid obstacles by jumping or shifting sideways, and collect tokens placed along the path. The objective is to survive as long as possible while maintaining control under increasing speed and complexity.
Core Gameplay
The system is based on three actions:
Jump over obstacles
Move left or right to avoid collisions
Collect tokens placed in safe paths
Failure occurs immediately upon collision. Each run is short, repeatable, and dependent on reaction time and decision accuracy.
Movement and Control
Responsive jump mechanic
Smooth lateral movement
Predictable physics and timing
Designed for one-handed play
Controls are intentionally minimal to reduce friction and focus on execution.
Obstacle Design
Static and moving obstacles
Lane-blocking patterns
Mixed sequences requiring quick decisions
Increasing density over time
Obstacle placement is structured to create alternating choices between risk and reward.
Token System
Tokens are placed along viable paths
Some require risk to collect
Collection contributes to score progression
The system introduces a trade-off between safe movement and score optimisation.
Progression
Speed gradually increases
Patterns become more complex
Reaction window decreases over time
There are no levels. Progression is entirely performance-based.
Visual Structure
Clean, readable environment
Clear separation between path, obstacles, and tokens
Minimal visual noise to maintain focus
Consistent visual language across all screens
Design prioritises clarity and reaction speed over decoration.
Game Loop
Instant start
Continuous forward motion
Immediate restart after failure
The loop is optimised for repetition and improvement.
