About this app
Nepali Mudra is a portfolio tracker for Nepali share investors. It is not a trading app: it never places an order and never asks for your broker password. It answers what your TMS screen does not — what a position really cost you, what it is worth now, and what would actually reach your bank.
YOUR REAL COST, CALCULATED PROPERLY
Record every BUY, SELL, BONUS, RIGHTS and CASH DIVIDEND. The app keeps a weighted-average cost across all of them, so bonus shares lower your average instead of quietly corrupting your spreadsheet, and dividends stay separate from capital gains. Buy 100 shares at Rs 480, take a 20% bonus, and your average cost becomes Rs 401.50 the moment you record it. Bonus and rights entries preview your new share count and new average before you save.
FEES FILLED IN FOR YOU
Four charges come off every trade, and leaving them out is why "invested amount" never matches the money that left your account. Nepali Mudra fills them in using the NEPSE schedule — 0.30% broker commission (minimum Rs 15), 0.015% SEBON, 0.0075% TMS and the Rs 25 DP charge — and you can override any of it.

Every holding shows the sell price at which you break even after fees and capital gains tax. Enter a target price, or tap a shortcut, and get the full breakdown: gross proceeds, estimated fees, capital gains tax, net proceeds and real after-tax profit. Set your own CGT rates (5% long-term, 7.5% short-term by default); the app tracks how long you have held each position.

Keep a separate portfolio for each broker or DP: your own account, your spouse's, your parents'. Tag each with its broker, then switch to All Portfolios for the combined position: total value, invested, unrealised and realised profit, dividends received, biggest holding, best and worst performer. Your ledger lives on your device, so the app works offline. When prices cannot refresh, the app shows the last known price and how old it is rather than pretending it is current.
