Rolls is a camera where two people share one roll of film.
A roll holds 24 frames. Hand someone the invite code and you fill it together.

■ Sealed until it is full
You cannot see your own shots either. With nothing to check, you stop retaking —
and you start caring about the moment you press the shutter.
There is no editing afterwards. The film you loaded is the result.

■ The last frame opens the roll
Developing happens on each phone, on its own. Mine surfacing does not light up
yours — the film waits in the canister until your own hand turns the lid.
That is when you first see each other's day: what they were looking at,
and how differently you both saw the same place.

■ Film, not presets
This is not a retro or vintage filter laid over a photo. Every stock has its own
tone curves, silver grain and halation. Light that passes through the emulsion
and reflects off the base, grain that coarsens with ISO, highlights that lose
colour as the dyes saturate — the analogue simulation follows the order real
35mm film takes in light. Once a roll starts, its film cannot change.
Sixteen stocks are on the shelf today.

■ A roll for the day
A trip, an anniversary, a wedding, a party, any event, friends you rarely see.
Couples split one roll across a long distance; families and friends pass one
around the same table. You open it together when you get home — the way two
people used to share a single disposable camera.

■ A line on the print
Developed frames open as prints hanging on a line — a shared album you both
reach at the same time. Leave one line in the margin under each one.

■ Not a subscription
One film voucher to begin with, free — trade it for the film you want.
After that you buy one at a time, like real film. Nothing recurring, ever.
No ads, and no advertising ID.

■ Permissions and privacy
We ask for the camera, and for storage only when you save a photo to your own
device. Location is never requested, and no location or EXIF metadata is written
into a photo. Before developing, a photo is closed even to the person who shot
it; afterwards it is visible only to the people in that roll. There is no public
feed and no way to meet strangers.
Account deletion is at the bottom of the Profile screen inside the app.
