The complete licensed NES library is already in the app — 677 North American releases, organized by publisher, series and year, with box art, spines and print-run data. You don't build the database. You just mark what's yours.

IDENTIFY THE EXACT PRINTING Games shipped in more than one version. Oval SOQ, Oval TM, "USA/Canada" text, three-screw and five-screw carts, hangtab and non-hangtab boxes. CartaLog lists every documented printing for a title with its manufacture date, so you can find the one on your shelf instead of guessing.

TRACK EVERY COMPONENT Box, cartridge, manual, poster, Nintendo Power card, registration card, dust sleeve, hangtabs. Mark each one owned or missing, per copy. Cartridge only, box and manual, complete in box, or CIB+ with every insert accounted for — the shelf shows the tier at a glance, and sealed and graded copies get their own foil edge.

GRADE THE CONDITION Set a condition per component, from Mint to Poor. CartaLog weights them into an overall grade for the copy, so a beat-up box on a mint cart reads honestly.

OWN MORE THAN ONE Duplicates aren't a rounding error. Each copy of a game is tracked separately, with its own printing, components and condition.

SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPING Point the camera at a box and CartaLog identifies the game on-device — no lookup, no account, nothing uploaded. Barcode scanning and a scan queue make a shelf of new pickups fast to log.

FLOAT MODE Minimize CartaLog into a floating bubble that watches your screen and identifies NES games in marketplace listings and videos as you browse. Everything runs on your phone.

A WANT LIST THAT WORKS AT THE TABLE The Need list is grouped by game and ordered by priority — so at a show you know you want the box and the poster for Super Mario Bros., not two unrelated line items.

SPREADSHEET MODE The whole collection as a sortable table: publisher, series, year, status, components, value. Export it to XLSX whenever you want it out of the app.
