About this app

Netagrow is a free farming app for Zambia. It tells you what to do on your farm today, shows the rain, soil, and dry-spell risk for your own field, identifies pests from a photo, and gives you prices from markets near you.

• Take a photo of a sick leaf to identify the pest or disease, with how sure it is and how serious

• Neta, your farm assistant, knows your fields, crops, livestock and local weather
• Ask about planting, watering, spraying, pests or prices and get an answer for your farm, not a general one

PRICES AND SHOP
• Retail prices for maize, beans, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs and milk from 209 markets across Zambia
• See when your crop is ready to sell, and where it sells for most
• Order seed, fertiliser and other inputs from local sellers. The seller calls you to arrange delivery

WATER
• The nearest working boreholes and dams to your farm, and water points reported broken

ALERTS
• Notifications when a planting window opens, when prices favour selling, when a dry spell is coming, and when a water point near you goes down

LIVESTOCK
• Keep batches of chickens, pigs, cattle, goats and more, each with its own care guide, day by day
