Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the FULL game experience, a Gothic, exploration-focused side-scrolling action RPG by Koji Igarashi, packing all of the best features you’ve come to know and love from the Metroidvania genre into a single, content-packed game.

Ratings and reviews

Despite for being a great game, I am just wondering why the devs stupidly only offered the super dumb touchscreen analog control but no choice for a player to choose for touchscreen d-pads control instead since it would've been much convenient to control with d-pads for a game like this. The touchscreen analog control is inconvenient and unresponsive at times which made me very annoyed and pissed trying move or dodge the enemies' attacks. Please be clever and add the touchscreen d-pad control.

A metroidvania wherever you go is a dream come true, but unfortunately it's got some issues. The main one being the controls. The touch controls become completely unresponsive at times and there are also many user interface bugs - there are times where an item or shard drops and there is usually an on screen prompt telling you what you get, but it often doesn't show up, which makes farming materials a pain. Keeping it at 3 because there is still a big game here, but with a terrible UI.

Edit: In a nutshell, doesn't work on my Android 12 phone, same phone I beat the game with years ago. No response or changes made, you can check online forums and see that people have had this issue for over a year. Many feel like it's been abandoned Please do not give these people your money. Original: This game used to work for me a long time ago, I picked it up again but it crashes on Startup every time now. I have the same phone I did back then so I don't know what's wrong with it
