Ratings and reviews

Installed Armor on my phone (Samsung S22 Android) and on my wife's phone. Both constantly caused the phones to lock up, and the touch screen would occasionally not work. The only resolve was to turn the phone off and then back on. After a couple of months, I finally un-installed the app, and the problems went away. I do not recommend this app.

Armor does a good job offering consumer protection, and it pairs well with a supported Netgear router. There are many toggle switches in the app which layer additional security, but can be annoying if you're like me and pick and choose your own preferences. For example, the app recently started notifying me about adding an additional VPN service. If you don't install the addition service, for whatever reason, the app will continue to advertise to you via the notifications panel.

Free for the first year and BOY did it "FIND" all kinds of problems with my devices, devices that have been internet connected for SEVERAL YEARS without a SINGLE hiccup. Until Armor comes along and now it's a struggle to get basic functions to work on phones, tablets and laptops without reviewing every "blocked" task, website, or app. PITA!! Secondly, it's only $49.99 the second year with an AUTO-RENEW on anniversary date for $149.99. UNLESS the consumer CALLS an 800 number!! Are you JOKING?
