About this app

iBreviary is the application that brings the traditional Catholic prayer of the Breviary and all the texts of the Liturgy on your smartphone and tablet.
This app wants to contribute, through a partnership with Custody of the Holy Land, friendship and prayer for all Christians living Holy Places.

iBreviary contains:
• Breviary, Missal and Lectionary complete in 10 languages and continuously updated (Italian, English, Spanish, French, Romanian, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Latin and Galician)
• The text of the Breviary and the Missal in the "Latin Vetus Ordo" and Latin

• Rituals for the sacraments and celebrations
• The liturgical texts used in the Holy Land

Ratings and reviews

I used to really like this app. Now I cannot use it because there is a grey bar across the top with the word ibrevery in black text. My husband's does not. This bar prevents me from clicking any of the icons at the top of the app. If the current day is displayed and is the correct date, then I can read the daily readings, maybe. Very, Very Frustrating. PLEASE FIX!!!

Love this app and use it almost everyday. However, the most recent update has rendered it completely useless. The buttons for "Pray", "Languages" and even the Settings are obstructed by a black bar that says "IBreviary" and cannot be tapped, leaving me unable to open the readings and no longer able to use the app.

I have used this app for years, and it is definitely my favorite of the available options. I really like that it includes the propers for optional memorials and commemorations. Lately (past few weeks), I've been having trouble with the app resetting to thinking that the current day isn't loaded whenever I switch to another app or sometimes even if I let the screen time out. It's rather annoying, as I then have to go through the menus and scroll through to find my place again.
