There is now a full screen mode but it actually just turns the nav-bar and top-bar into white-space instead of making the text full-screen. Otherwise it's a great app with easy and intuitive access to readings, prayers, etc. In fact it's probably the best one out there from a design and usability perspective.
Thank you for this app 😇
Great tool for praying the Liturgy of the Hours
Love the app - generally very good and eminently useful. However, this new notification feature - with non-skippable alerts upon launching the application - is extraordinarily annoying. The envelope with a red alert bubble grabs attention just fine without having an additional dialog box requiring interaction before the app can be used. Please get rid of it.
The only complaint I have now with this app is it asking me if I want to read the unread notifications all the time. The full screen button also blocks the readings. Unless the auto scroll button which is transparent. Still, it is the app that I use. Would be nice if it were totally offline like a competitor app. What wins between the two app is you have the psalm prayers.
Latest update is a step backward. The notification feature is not necessary and disruptive. I turn to the liturgy of the hours to get away from interruptions and notifications. The full screen feature disfigures the page with a big button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen that cannot be removed.
Following your review and suggestions, we've updated the app with few enhancements and bug fixes: fullscreen icon is now transparent, large screens have now a better support, fixed the offline bug and other small improvements.
