Your task is to fill in the empty cells in such a way that every number from 1 to 9 appears only once in each row, column, and 3×3 block. With only one difficulty level, Genetic Code 9 keeps you focused on the challenge without the need to worry about adjusting settings or difficulty.

You can manually enter numbers into the cells by tapping on them and selecting the appropriate number. Once a number is correctly chosen, it can no longer be changed, ensuring that your progress remains intact. Mistakes are limited, and you only have 3 chances to input a wrong number before it's game over. To guide you, the game displays a "lives" indicator to let you know how many incorrect entries you have left.

Upon completing a puzzle, the screen flashes green, and the words "well done" appear, congratulating you on your success. The time taken to complete the puzzle is shown, and a "PLAY AGAIN" button appears for your next challenge. Your best times are recorded and saved, allowing you to track your improvements. Remember, only completed games count towards your record; any interruption or exit will cause the time to be discarded.
