Play Hanafuda Koi-Koi with the friends of Gensokyo!
Touhou Hanafuda is a fan-made Touhou Project game based on the traditional Japanese card game Hanafuda and its classic Koi-Koi rules.

Capture matching cards, build scoring combinations called yaku, then make the big decision: stop and score, or call Koi-Koi and keep pushing for more.

- Three ways to play

Classic Koi-Koi
Choose your favorite opponent and play a traditional match. Characters differ in strength and play style.

Stage Clear
Choose a Touhou character as your partner and take on a continuing series of opponents. Stage progress is saved separately for each partner, so you can travel the road again with different characters.

Quick Match
Jump straight into a match with an unlocked opponent chosen for you.

- 18 Touhou characters

Characters from Gensokyo, including Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame, appear as rivals and partners.
Try different opponents, or take your favorite character along as your partner.

- Raise your Flower Rank

The mon you earn in matches becomes experience for your Flower Rank.
Progress through the flowers of the twelve months, from Pine and Plum onward. Reach the end and a new cycle begins.
There is no final level, so your rank keeps growing as long as you play.

- Collect all 48 Hanafuda cards

Cards you capture during real matches are recorded in your collection book.
Each card grows through five grades: Normal, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.
There is no random draw for the collection — playing matches and capturing cards is how you build it.

- Collect 13 scoring yaku

Your collection also records the yaku you complete, including Gokou, Shikou, Ame-Shikou, Sankou, Inoshikacho, Akatan and Aotan.
Chasing unusual combinations gives every match another goal.

- Partners help your collection grow

Each Stage Clear partner has a favorite flower and a favorite yaku.
Matching cards and yaku receive double collection progress, giving you a reason to travel with different partners.

- Easy to pick up

Helpful highlights show which cards can be captured, making the game approachable even if you are new to Hanafuda.
Portrait controls make it easy to play a quick match on your phone.

- Touhou arrangement BGM

Enjoy a selection of Touhou arrangement tracks while you play.
Music continues across screens, with a new track selected for each match. BGM and sound-effect volume can be adjusted separately.
