📡 How It Works (No SIM, No Internet)
As the name suggests, Netless means you don't need a SIM card, Wi-Fi router, or mobile data. The app utilizes your phone's built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot technology.
• Host (Router): One device establishes the secure network. The SSID (Network Name) and Password are automatically generated by the Android system, ensuring a secure and random setup every time. You don't need to configure complex IP addresses manually.
• Connection Tip: Once connected, send a "Hello" message or press the PTT button once. This ensures the Host registers you in the network immediately.
🛡️ Privacy & Personalization
• Customizable Usernames: You don't have to be just "Client 1". Set your own display name (e.g., "Rescue Team A", "Dad", "Office 3") so everyone knows who is talking. This name appears in chat messages, video logs, and monitoring screens.
• Secure Channels: Need a private line? Switch between multiple secure channels to talk without interfering with other groups nearby.

• For Hosts: Acting as the network router consumes more energy. We strongly recommend the Host device be connected to a power bank during extended sessions to ensure network stability.
• Video Efficiency: You can disable live video streaming in the settings to prioritize audio clarity and extend battery life for the whole group.
📍 Location & GPS Functionality
Netless Comms Luis shares real-time location to keep your team coordinates visible.
• GPS Limitation: Please be aware that if you are underground, in a thick concrete bunker, or deep indoors, GPS satellites may not be visible. In these specific cases, location data might be unavailable. This is a hardware physical limitation, not an app failure.
📞 Advanced Communication Tools
• Private Calls: The Host can initiate a private call to any Client, and any Client can call the Host directly, ensuring confidential communication channels differ from the group broadcast.
• Microphone & Volume Boost: Working in noisy environments like a construction site or engine room? You don't need a Bluetooth headset. Use our integrated Microphone Boost and Volume Boost sliders to amplify your voice and hear others clearly.
• History & Logs: All chat messages and file transfers are logged locally, so you can review instructions or older messages anytime.
