I've played since nearly launch (with occasional small breaks) and it was great for awhile, but for the last year or so EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I enter a battle, the game forces open Google play store to ask if I'd like to enable AR mode. I've checked all the settings in the game and in my phone that I could and can't find a way to stop it. This really kills all motivation to play more than doing the dailies at most. I find myself taking way more breaks from the game these days.

There's a lot to love and hate about this game. The gameplay, character/cosmetic designs, animations, and crossovers are all pretty great. However, banners come out too fast. Rates are terrible. So you're always spending a ton of gems per banner, just to pull the new OP unit even once. It can get very expensive, very quick, in order to keep up with the meta units/teams. Been playing for years. It's a very fun game, but almost feels like you're forced to spend money just to stay competitive...

out of all the mobile summoning type games I've play, this is the most generous and the easiest to F2P, and the PVP formula they have for this game is great, but power creep has become a massive issue. there are also many modes that are very infuriatingly difficult and restrictive, and as a new player, it will take a lot of time to be able to feesibly attempt certain content. It's not a terrible game, but I could not imagine ever having to start from 0 in the modern state of GC.
