out of all the mobile summoning type games I've play, this is the most generous and the easiest to F2P, and the PVP formula they have for this game is great, but power creep has become a massive issue. there are also many modes that are very infuriatingly difficult and restrictive, and as a new player, it will take a lot of time to be able to feesibly attempt certain content. It's not a terrible game, but I could not imagine ever having to start from 0 in the modern state of GC.

There's a lot to love and hate about this game. The gameplay, character/cosmetic designs, animations, and crossovers are all pretty great. However, banners come out too fast. Rates are terrible. So you're always spending a ton of gems per banner, just to pull the new OP unit even once. It can get very expensive, very quick, in order to keep up with the meta units/teams. Been playing for years. It's a very fun game, but almost feels like you're forced to spend money just to stay competitive...

Hello, here is my updated review of the game. I'm not going to sugarcoat it: this game is very pay-to-win heavy. This means you have to keep up with all the festivals, collaborations, cosmetics (which give stats), gear, and upgrading your units. This is a very grind-heavy game; half of the progression is pay-oriented. Yet again, it's not impossible, but the new player experience and fall-off rate are largely because pay options aren't embellishments; they're an endgame essential.
