Does what it says it does, for free. Speed testing indicates selected throttle is accurate (~10% margin of error, expected) and so far no ads or anything like that. Only feedback is ancillary, the choice of font is one that looks kind of handwritten? Odd choice for a productivity/utility app.

Works great to limit the data usage while streaming. If your data plan has a cap/limit, this can help you extend that quota. Some streaming services if you have a good signal will stream at the highest resolution without taking in consideration your data quota limit. Without an option to lower that resolution on the streaming app you will need to throttle your connection to force a lower resolution streaming... this app is the solution. Thanks

this app may not reduce the download data usage? I installed another app "NetSpeed Indicator", and found when downloading, the indicator always report a bigger number than the threshold I set on NetThrottle.. The server may always sends at a higher bitrate, but NetThrottle app discards many packets, so the server may re-send the packet again. so the total data usage may even higher than before? If the server is a video server and supports ABR with lower resolution then it may reduce data usage
