Starward is a 3D fighting game that integrates mecha girls and classic GVG combat gameplay, with 1V1 and 2V2 mode as the core gameplay. In Starward, players can control mecha girls with distinct personalities and different combat styles, and experience three-dimensional combat experiences beyond the ground.

Classic GVG-like Gameplay
Starward faithfully recreates the GVG gameplay that has been popular in Japanese arcade halls for over a decade. It includes actions such as Beam Rifle, Machine Gun, Charge Shoot, fighting, blocking, stepping, dashing, allowing you to quickly showcase your skill level.
The Starward experience spans across three distinct game modes featuring 2V2, 1V1 and Arcade gameplay. PvP is the main, featuring fast-paced battles lasting about 3 minutes per match.

Mecha Girls VERSUS
All characters are mecha girls, skilled in close-range fighting or long-range shooting. You can choose characters like Aliz, SkySaber, XiaoLing to play as vanguards; or characters like Elfin, Cavalry, Hikari to play as rearguards.
Each character has its unique design, such as Chinese style, elves, witches, fully armed mecha girls, and more.

The COST System
The character's combat power "COST" is divided into four categories: 3.0/2.5/2.0/1.5. You need to allocate the "COST" of the team to achieve the most reasonable configuration.

Ratings and reviews

The game does well with the tutorial, it plays well. There's "offline" play which is entertaining. Combat is flashy, blocking and dodging relies more on making reads rather than reacting to indicators. Learning combos is fun, it reminds me of Mecha Break I love it. Downsides are, small character capacity when texting friends, blocking only blocks the direction your facing sometimes which gets annoying if fighting multiple people. Gameplay is smooth, the women are hot, well done Developer Team.

I decided to give Starward a chance because I love Black Rock Shooter. I'm glad I started playing the game, because I couldn't stop playing Starward. This game runs great on my device and it's extremely easy to learn how to play. The characters are beautifully designed and easy on the eyes. There's no storyline, its a straightforward 3d fighting game. The music and sound design are also really great. This game is worth your time. The developers did a great job with Starward.

Game was great at first when I was doing ranked matches, everyone felt like they were either in the middle of my level or a bit more experience. However, the matchmaking got serious when I barely was ranked high, and I got ranked with a player that was #2 in last season, which shocked me, since me and my teammates had NO shot at winning. If the game maybe fixed Matchmaking then I would play again but. DON'T play this game if your a beginner, it is hell after you barely get more into the game.
