Ratings and reviews

Good, but if the app is already running and you tap the icon again, it usually hangs. You have to force it to close and tap the icon again. This is most annoying. PLUS, we must have the ability to change the notification sound. It just uses the default sound so when I hear it I have no idea that it's from NX Witness. It could be a message from Facebook or any other app installed. I need to know immediately when NX Witness notifies me.

This app includes some basic functionality for viewing your cameras but lacks any way of customising anything. For instance I have layouts appearing on the app but no idea where they've come from or how to delete/update them. They aren't defined anywhere on the Windows app or on the server but seem frozen into the app even after deleting data etc. Needs better integration with other elements of the ecosystem.

Basic access to footage is ok but one annoying issue is that the app needs to be closed manually every time and restarted. Otherwise it just sits on the NX Logo. Samsung S21 and S23, phones, apps and server on the latest Version May 2025. The second thing is that there is no access to events, at least not an obvious way.
