Really great app, excellent work especially for your first go. Would love to see a dark mode and an option for "big gobble" (a 5x5 variant). The possible points displayed above the board after the game ends also seems not to take into account custom word length settings, so it displays a different possible score than the (correct) amount in the word list.

Very kind of you to give 5โญ๏ธ despite the very reasonable critiques! You're right, of course: it's flawed, and it's my first serious app. (I don't even use that coding language anymore.) When I get around to rewriting it, I'll clean up the bugs and add dark-mode & 5x5. Promise. ~marty ๐ neverads.org

Most boggle and similar games require an internet connection and are packed full of ads (which is the only reason an internet connection is required). This game sets itself apart from the rest by having nothing more. While I do like the minimalistic approach, I would like to see a few more togglable features added in settings. For instance, high scores, basic sounds, the ability to change the color scheme from the standard spearmint green. Overall, a great game.

I'm so glad you like it! โบ๏ธ Those are all good suggestions, too. I'm an amateur, and I have almost literally no income from this (neverads.com/coffee), so finding time to make updates is rough. (Full-time job, 2yo kid, etc.) High scores are actually in there - check the โฎ menu-button on the main screen. Email for more? (never.ads.info@gmail.com)

I've had this game on my last 3 phones (including the current one). It's so simple yet endlessly variable. And I love that I don't need an internet connection, love that it collects no data, and love that it shares no data. It's hard to find games with these qualities (except on f-droid). This is my go-to when I need to just zone out after a stressful shift at work. Between this, Lexica, and Kumquats, I don't know which I like best.
