About this app

DeVerdict is a text-only debate app and discussion community where people ask bold questions, vote in live polls and surveys, share opinions, build evidence-backed arguments, and see which side leads.

Choose For, Against, or Neutral. Answer, vote, react, comment, and reply while live Community Verdicts and survey results evolve through real participation.

Debate Ideas That Matter

Start structured debates about technology, culture, politics, everyday life, or anything that matters to you. Post questions, explore different perspectives, and join meaningful discussions without photo or video distractions.

Vote in Live Polls and Surveys

Create community surveys and invite people to vote. Choose an answer, explain your reasoning, update your vote, and watch the results develop as more people participate.

Explore survey results through meter, pie, and bar charts to understand how the community is responding.

See Which Side Leads

Community Verdicts show whether For, Against, or Neutral voices are leading.

Verdicts develop through answers, reactions, comments, replies, and unique participation—turning every debate into a living snapshot of the conversation.

Build Stronger Arguments

Go beyond a quick comment by creating a structured answer with:

• An optional answer headline
• A clear main claim
• Supporting evidence and reasoning
• The strongest reasonable counterargument
• A memorable final conclusion
• Links to supporting sources

Attach your poll or survey choice to your answer and briefly explain why you selected it.

Change Minds, Not Just Scores

Recognize arguments that changed your perspective and see when your own contributions change someone else’s mind. Thoughtful participation can help you build your voice and earn recognition within the community.

Follow Topics and Discussions

Discover trending topics, follow your interests, and jump into relevant debates. Browse conversations about ideas, opinions, questions, and issues that matter to you.
