The Holy Faithful Bible is one of the translations of the Bible into the Portuguese language based on the version by João Ferreira de Almeida, this translation used only the Receptus Text as the basis for the translation of the New Testament and the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament. This text seeks to maintain fidelity in meaning, but also the balance of forms, becoming the biblical text most faithful to the originals among those we have in Portuguese.
