extremely disappointing that this is now a subscription site. Given how much MGN make in annual profit and the quality (or lack of) reporting accuracy, grammar, local knowledge and the fact that this "paper" is ,or was, considered as an institution in the Newcastle/Tyneside area, then to charge for it and it's poor content is unbelievable. That said if someone was to copy the link to an article and say paste it onto a site called smry.ai they can read it for free.

Don't see the point in only having 7 views in a week. Then asking for a payment to view more, NOT HAPPENING. Don't mind adverts instead. Hence only giving two stars instead of my usual five.

news stories are days(sometimes weeks) old. A lot of content locked (you have to pay for it) but not worth it. It would be ok if it was free.
