Ratings and reviews

The content on the app has been going downhill for some time. The quality of the articles leave a great deal to be desired. Having mainly used it for local news and local sport I now find that some headlines paint a false picture of the actual content of the articles. The fact that you now need to pay for the privilege of using it is the last straw. After many years of usage I will now seek an alternative.

The last few updates have gradually made the app worse with the most recent changes to limit the number of news stories per week and the creation of a premium account to access some stories is terrible. A high percentage of the feeds are just copies of those in other news websites with no proof reading and ghosting clickbait headlines that have no relevance to the story itself.
