Ratings and reviews

news stories are days(sometimes weeks) old. A lot of content locked (you have to pay for it) but not worth it. It would be ok if it was free.

The content on the app has been going downhill for some time. The quality of the articles leave a great deal to be desired. Having mainly used it for local news and local sport I now find that some headlines paint a false picture of the actual content of the articles. The fact that you now need to pay for the privilege of using it is the last straw. After many years of usage I will now seek an alternative.

You've now reduced free articles to 7/week instead of 10. 10 was ridiculous enough anyway considering how much you regurgitate 'news' to make multiple articles, so you'd end up reading the same thing multiple times and waste your free reading. sadly means I'll no longer be using chronicle to keep up to date with local news, which is a real shame

What’s new

This release is mostly bug fixes, tidy up and maintenance, all meant to improve your experience. This includes some general UI and UX tidy up around the app. There are bigger changes on the way so stay tuned for more.
