CivioraMed is a reference tool for licensed healthcare professionals and health professions students. It organizes official, publicly available medical information and shows you exactly where every quoted line came from.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

This application does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment, and does not calculate doses. It writes no medical text of its own: clinical text comes from its source, in quotation marks — in full, or as an excerpt from the start of a long section. Notes we add about coverage appear without quotation marks, and on a few condition pages a "Conditions sharing symptoms" list is computed from the sources' own symptom lists — each row states how it was derived. It does not rank conditions by likelihood and does not produce a differential diagnosis. When a source has nothing to say about your query, it says so instead of generating an answer.

WHAT IT DOES

• Look up a condition, a drug, or a clinical sign
• 705 conditions drawn from MedlinePlus (National Library of Medicine)
• 623 of them list the signs their own source describes — quoted from that source
• 1,358 drug entries, each showing the FDA labeling of one product (route and prescription or OTC status shown) — 10,080 FDA labeling sections; 3,757 brand-name synonyms covering 1,143 of them
• Search by sign: see which conditions list that finding in their sources, listed alphabetically, each one tap from the source's own wording
• Combine signs: see the conditions whose sources list all of them

FREE AND PAID

All source information in the app — every FDA, NIH and National Library of Medicine text — is free to read, without limit, and we do not sell it. Looking up conditions, drugs and tests by name is also free without limit. The one paid feature is an in-app convenience: finding conditions by a sign's medical identity (including its synonyms) and combining signs. Every condition it finds can also be found free by name. Your first 20 sign searches are free (a one-time total, not monthly); after that it requires a subscription, billed monthly or yearly.

EVERY QUOTE IS TRACEABLE

On each condition and drug page, every quoted block carries its own citation: the organization, the document, the section, and the date we accessed it. Quoted text is shown in quotation marks. Copyrighted clinical practice guidelines are not included.

Labeling that has been in effect for an unusually long time is flagged with its effective date, together with the fact that FDA does not require periodic revision — so an older date does not by itself mean the content is outdated.
