I cancelled my daily print edition of the Abq Journal because of sloppy delivery & poor customer service. I decided to try their eJournal version. Was OK with the Android app I was using. Needed a new phone... had to downloaded this current app. It sucks!!! I logged in.... won't open. Seens like the Abq Journal has a death wish. Get it together!!!!!

Terrible app. Classic was bad enough, they made it far worse. I use the e-journal view. 1-8-21: Getting worse. 2-15-22: the app continues to get worse. Currently I need to force stop a locked app 3-4 times a day to get through the paper. No other app on my tablet having issues. Each update I get hopeful, then it crashes. Terrible app, no help from the journal.

My S8 was upgraded to pie (Android 9.0) yesterday and this Journal app no longer works. There were issues before, but at least it was usable. Google says this app wasnt updated since July 4, 2018 so I'm guessing there is no more development of this app. Sad when i pay for digital subscription, so i may have to end it. l'm guessing Journal is short on funds for app development? Edit: after several restarts, it now starts up, but very slowly.
