If you are an iOS user, you may rate it 4. But for Android users, the experience will be just 1.5 to 2. I use the listening function while driving or working around the house. Very often, the Android app does not advance to the next article when the current article is done. The app is just kept on spinning on matter what you try. Sometimes, the articles are mixed up, and jump to other article and jump back to the previous article later. However, the iOS app does not have all these issues.

New version corrects some of the issues but creates new ones. All options should be under More/Options. For example "auto download" is under "See All" and edition selection is under "Edit". Not very intuitive! Now it loses editions. According to the phone notifications the "lost" edition is being downloaded. Only way of viewing is to add it again. When will they create a stable, fully functional, intuitive app? In the past I've emailed the app support a copy of my review with no response.

The April 2022 upgrade to this app is appalling. I have used Globe2Go on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite for over a year and had no issues with the previous app. I could zoom in on text and images easily. Now I get random moving black numbers and grid lines superimposed on the page that block image and text when I zoom, the 'text view' selection works inconsistently, photo quality is low, just an epic fail in every way. Why not offer this as beta version until it's fully tested on all devices and some of the problems are worked out? We didn't need another 'app' version of the Globe, the digital replica version was distinct, offered high resolution reading and great integration with PressReader. If I didn’t value the quality of the journalism I would have cancelled by now.
