one of the most addictive games I've ever played. this isn't a game you can get bored of and even though it's so simple and you could easily understand the whole format and controls within minutes, it's still so fun. you can adjust difficulty, music, players, etc. I don't know why but for some reason all retro sports games are just so fun and addictive. (Retro Goal, Retro Bowl, Retro Bowl College, Hoop Land, Big Shot Boxing, etc.)

Controls are somewhat unintuitive. Attempting to dribble forward will sometimes lead to wild kicks backwards. Attempts to shoot goals will sometimes lead to counterproductive passes. Even if you pay for the "full" game, there doesn't seem to be a way to customize team kits. Great game overall, but not as polished or satisfying as Retro Bowl.

The game has SO much potential but the simulation aspect is just horrible. You can't control defense at all and sometimes an opponent can score 2-3 times in a row and you'll only possess the ball once or twice in a match and it's completely out of your control. The difficulty isn't balanced whatsoever. "Easy" and "normal" provide very little competition and "hard" is an enormous step up with no middle ground at all. Such a shame for a game with great graphics and so many real clubs to pick from
