About this app

MIDIMonitor is a monitor tool for checking MIDI messages from devices and MIDI-capable apps connected to your Android device.

It is a simple standalone monitor app for quickly inspecting MIDI message flow without routing or editing features.

Key features:
* View received MIDI messages with time, source, type, channel, data, and hex values
* Inspect message types such as Note, Control Change, Program Change, Pitch Bend, SysEx, and Clock
* Filter by source, message type, and channel
* Search messages and apply table column filters
* Group related messages for easier reading
* View connected MIDI devices and MIDI apps
* Send Identity Request probes to MIDI devices
* Configure maximum monitor messages, display refresh rate, and Middle C notation

Useful for:
* Checking MIDI keyboards, controllers, and interfaces
* Verifying input and output from synth apps and MIDI-capable apps
* Inspecting MIDI Clock, SysEx, Control Change, and other MIDI messages
* Troubleshooting MIDI connection issues

MIDIMonitor is focused on MIDI status inspection and diagnostics. It does not provide routing editing or performance assistance features.
