Your bottle. Your mix. Your budget.
Make homemade electrolyte drinks with recipes that scale to the bottle or jug you actually use. Electrolyte Chef puts the ingredients, measurements and estimated nutrition in one place, so you can choose a mix that works for your taste and budget.
WHY I BUILT IT
As a marching-band parent, I wanted to make a hydration mix for my son with less sugar and a lower cost. I started with a one-gallon jug and ingredients that were easy to find. Electrolyte Chef grew from that idea, with Orange Cream as one of the original recipes.
The goal is simple: make DIY mixes easier to understand and easier to make. Buying ingredients for multiple batches can be a practical alternative to single-serve packets; your costs will depend on the recipe and what you buy.
MAKE A BOTTLE OR A WHOLE JUG
Choose a common bottle size, a full gallon or your own water volume. Ingredient amounts scale together, so you don't have to redo the math.
MEASURE YOUR WAY
Use US cups and spoons, grams or weight ounces. Choose water units separately: fluid ounces, gallons, milliliters or liters. Your preferred units and container size stay saved on your device.
FIND YOUR KIND OF MIX
Browse everyday, sport and no-added-sugar recipes. Explore original flavors and clearly labeled recipes inspired by familiar drink styles. Save favorites on your device for your next batch.

Nutrition and household measurements are estimates; follow each ingredient's measuring notes. These are general recipes for adults, not medical rehydration formulas or guidance for children.
