About this app

Your pulse oximeter shows the numbers; this app remembers them. SpO2 Log is a plain written diary for blood oxygen and pulse readings — a notebook for values you take with a real fingertip pulse oximeter. It is not a pulse oximeter itself: this app does not measure anything, and it never uses your camera or flash.

Clip the device on your finger, wait for the numbers, and write them down while they are still on the display. Tag the moment — resting, after activity, during sleep, feeling unwell — and note which device you used. When your doctor asks how your oxygen has been running, that is exactly the record you want in your pocket.

HOW TO LOG A READING

• Enter your SpO2 as a whole percent, just as the device shows it — no upper limit and no judgment

• Enter your pulse in bpm from the same display

• Tag when it was taken — Resting, After activity, During sleep, Feeling unwell

• Name the device, add an optional note, tap "Save Entry" — done in about ten seconds

THE TREND, PLAINLY

Saved entries appear below the form with the newest first, and the home screen shows the last seven days at a glance — the dips and recoveries you actually want to see. History groups every day, and chips let you filter by situation, so resting readings compare with resting readings.

YOUR READINGS STAY YOURS

There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. The app works completely offline and keeps every entry on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, and your history is never held behind a subscription. Free means free: unlimited entries, no daily limit, no premium tier.

TAKE IT TO THE DOCTOR

Export your entire history to a CSV file at any time — open it in a spreadsheet, print it, or show the list at your appointment. When a pulmonologist asks "how low, and when?", you will have the answer written down.

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO

This is a manual notebook, not a medical device. It is not a pulse oximeter and cannot measure blood oxygen or pulse — no camera trick, no flashlight scan, no fingertip-on-the-screen simulation. Numbers from phone-camera "measuring" cannot be relied on, so this app refuses to pretend. It also does not diagnose, does not classify readings as normal or low, and does not give medical advice. If you are worried about your oxygen levels, contact a doctor.

WHO FINDS IT USEFUL

• People with COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, or a recent respiratory illness who check SpO2 at home

• Anyone asked by a doctor to keep an oxygen record between appointments

• Owners of fingertip pulse oximeters whose companion apps demand accounts or lose data

• People tired of "oximeter apps" with fake camera measuring, subscriptions, and pop-up ads

Start with the next reading. A dated list of SpO2 and pulse, with the situation each was taken in, is exactly what a doctor asks for — and it takes ten seconds per entry to keep.
Write down pulse oximeter readings in an offline diary. Not a pulse oximeter.
