About this app

Droovi Driver is the app for professional chauffeurs, private hire drivers and passenger transport companies. Receive your rides, follow your airport transfers and stay in touch with your dispatcher, from pickup to drop-off.

FOR DRIVERS

• Rides in real time: every ride assigned by your dispatcher reaches you instantly, with a notification.
• Everything you need: passenger, addresses, pickup time, flight number, vehicle type, requested extras.
• Flight tracking: the arrival time updates when the flight is early or delayed.
• One-swipe progress: on the way, arrived, passenger on board, passenger dropped off.

WHY A FOREGROUND SERVICE?

As soon as a ride starts, Droovi Driver runs a foreground service so the driver's position keeps being shared while the app is in the background or the screen is locked. This is what lets the passenger follow their driver's arrival. The service stops when the ride ends.
