It's really good, unfortunately, it's becoming obsolete. It's nothing to do with the devs, and everything to do with enshittification from manufacturers. The app requires both an FM module in your phone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack (acts as an antenna). Phone makers are removing both. This app was really vital for me during and after hurricanes, but my old phone gave up the ghost and I had to "up"grade to a new one. Gonna miss this app and the vital service it provides.

This app is really convenient. However, the problem with it is that whenever I choose a radio station to play, it doesn't show a song that's currently playing or the history of previous songs that played recently, and of course, we cannot give a song currently playing or recently played a like or dislike. That's the only issue with the app. If only these issues get fixed, then I would download this app again.

back to basics! This appears to be the only app that supports the FM chip in some phones. my galaxy s7 has an actual fm radio receiver. this app added streaming at one point but the it stopped working. I stopped using it but just checked again and they have gotten rid of the extra features and the radio works again. no internet, no problem . the only issue is on startup it says "no network " and doesn't show local stations. you can still use the basic tuner. happy to have this secret feature.

Hi Angelo,
This is a known issue with some Samsung devices, and it isn't specific to NextRadio. Some people have had luck by disabling features such as Adapt Sound, SoundAlive+ or Smart Volume, but for others this hasn’t worked. We've reported this issue to Samsung, but are not aware of a fix.
