Raid your refrigerator—now AI does it for you. No more worrying about what to eat today!
Do you go grocery shopping but end up ordering delivery because you don't know what to cook, only to have the ingredients inside spoil and have to throw them away? One Chef is a "refrigerator raid" app that recommends dishes you can make right now using the ingredients in your refrigerator. It saves on food costs and reduces food waste.
◆ Take a picture of your groceries and ingredients are registered
Simply take a picture of your receipt or the inside of your refrigerator, and the AI will read the item, quantity, and expiration date to automatically register them. It also recognizes barcodes, and you can even share your refrigerator with family or roommates. There is no need to enter everything manually.
◆ Recommend menus based on today's weather
It recommends recipes that use ingredients currently on hand, starting with those closest to their expiration date. Since it takes into account the weather and time of day, refreshing dishes appear first on hot days, while soup dishes appear first on cold days. It also displays calorie, macronutrient, and protein content.
◆ Easy enough for absolute beginners to follow
It doesn't stop at simple phrases like "moderately" or "over medium heat." It provides step-by-step instructions, covering everything from measuring ingredients and heat levels to the signal to check if the food is cooked. Even those cooking for the first time can simply follow along.
◆ Ask, "I think it's burnt"
Turn on voice cooking mode when your hands are busy with ingredients. It reads out the steps and answers your questions immediately when you speak. You don't need to touch the screen.
◆ Reduce food waste to lower your grocery bill
It shows you a report on how much you saved on ingredients and how much food you avoided wasting this month. Missed ingredients are automatically added to your shopping list, and it automatically plans your weekly dinner menu. ■ Suitable for:
