The Beacon: the world's intelligence and convening hub for PortTech.
More than 80 percent of world trade moves by sea. The technology that keeps it moving is being built in Antwerp, and this app is your key to the place where it happens. PortTech is the technology layer of global trade: automation on the terminal, intelligence in the planning, autonomy on the water and in the air. It is our single focus.

The Beacon houses more than 40 member companies and a community of over 100 founders, engineers and researchers working at the intersection of AI, robotics, autonomous systems, quantum computing and port logistics. The Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Europe's second largest port, is our founding partner and our proving ground. What gets built here gets tested at the scale of one of the busiest ports on the continent. Our building in Antwerp combines offices, flex workspace, meeting rooms and event spaces with something harder to plan: the hallway conversations that turn a pilot into a partnership. This app puts the whole hub in your pocket.

You don't need an office here to be part of it. Much of our programme is open to the wider PortTech community: pitch events like SPARK!, deep-dive sessions on the technology reshaping terminals and supply chains, and community moments like our annual SummerFest. The app is where you find it all first, and where you save your spot before the room fills up.

For members, it goes further. Your workspace, your bookings, your guests, your invoices and your benefits, all handled from one screen instead of five email threads. Turn on notifications and a room confirmation or event reminder finds you, not the other way around.

We built The Beacon to be the place where port operators, technology builders, researchers and investors actually meet. Where operational questions from the quay find the people writing the code, and where ideas get a first audience that can tell a demo from a deployment.
