About this app

At Tidjaniya is the digital companion of the Tijani community: daily spiritual life on one hand, and the organized life of the daahira on the other. The application is free, available in five languages, and most of its features can be used without creating an account.

Daily Use, No Account Required

• Prayer times calculated based on your location, with a choice of calculation methods (Umm al-Qura, ISNA, MWL…) and a countdown to the next prayer.

• Notifications and Adhan: activate prayer by prayer, volume preview, vibration.

• Real-time Qibla compass, oriented towards the Kaaba.

• Annual Tijani calendar: Gamou of Tivaouane, founders' birthdays, and Islamic holidays, displayed in Hijri and Gregorian calendars, exportable to your phone's calendar.

Audio Library and Reading

• Quran: approximately forty reciters, listen to surah by surah with a playback queue.

• Audio Khassidas: Tijani spiritual poetry, categorized by poet, collection, and chant.

• PDF Khassidas: Integrated reader with chapter navigation, adjustable font size, dark mode, and bookmarks.

• Background listening with lock screen controls, mini-player, and full-screen player.

• Offline download: Your recitations and khassidas remain available without an internet connection.

• Shared favorites for both the Quran and khassidas.

• Search all public daahiras by name or location.

• Find those near you.

• Review their profile, mission, public gallery, and upcoming events before joining.

Manage your daahira with an account

Any member can create their own daahira and become its leader, then delegate the roles of administrator, treasurer, or member.

• Memberships: applications validated by an administrator, or direct registration by a member via phone or email.

• Real-time updated member directory with detailed profiles.

• Digital membership card with QR code for event attendance, exportable as a PDF and printable.

• Group chat with text messages and voice notes.

• Announcements sent to all members, pinnable, with image or voice message.

• Events: date, location, capacity, attendance confirmations, and member notifications.

• Members-only library: photos, videos, audio files, and PDF documents, with background uploading.

A clear cash register for everyone

• Contribution and expense registers, with customizable categories and supporting documentation.

• Dashboard for cash balance and recent activity.

• Member history: each member can view their own contributions and the overall status of the daahira.
