I absolutely adored the original wooparoo but it didn't really have many cash generating features. Odyssey fixes that! There is a bit more to do, I enjoy the playloop and it still holds a lot of original charm. The events are so far rapid fire, but most are alright f2p. The current event though, to even obtain any real rewards, requires you to land in the top 100 on a global server which is ... a bit greedy. Hopefully more balance continues to be maintained moving forward.

I used to play Wooparoo Mountain and absolutely loved it. This games creatures are so charming and I enjoy the mechanics! Edit: I have noticed a feature to visually hide certain wooparoos using a ✔️ above them, which helps with some of the flashing issues. Critical hits in battles seem to still be a problem however with the zoom in effect. Still glad to see a positive change! Looking forward to future updates,

Aggressively pay-to-win w/ incredibly predatory monetization. I bought some packs near the beginning, but once I saw that you can only star up time-limited wooparoos w/ identical copies (instead of matching elements like regular ones) I lost all motivation to play the game. The Milky Way event just hammered home how egregiously the gameplay loop focused on whales. The designs are cute & I enjoy supporting this type of game, but not when it would require me to spend my rent to have any fun.
