Strategize and communicate with fellow Agents in your neighborhood and around the world.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

I have enjoyed the game for years . In the last year the proliferation of new portals (many of which are inaccessible to general public) and the fact that "the machina" seems to me to have gotten out of hand and often has those inaccessible portals, my enjoyment of the game is diminished. Hopefully this will be addressed soon. This post was made 03/25. Niantic does change game play from time to time. In my opinion most of the changes have been for the better .

It's not as much fun as it was a few years ago. The game is basically broken if you play honestly because Niantic won't ban cheaters edit, two years later: Niantic still hasn't done anything noticeable about the cheating problem, and the user base is dwindling even further. But, hey, if playing 80 alt accounts and location spoofing is your idea of a good time, this may be the game for you. The powers that be won't stop you. They don't care.

Waste of time. Wasted 9 years on this app and saw the game evolve into a disappointment. Most quit before I did. The business model is Niantic giving less in the game so you'll be encouraged to buy more in game. Used to be a good game in 2016. Wonder if anybody will even read this. The game has fallen off hard. They never listened to the players, only used us to build the Pokémon Go map.

• We added an option to sort Portal Keys by Faction in your Inventory, Key Lockers, and Capsules. Sort by Faction should make it easier to recharge Portals that are within recharge distance.

• Fixed a soft lock when claiming Bounty rewards on Dispatch.
