MicBuddy is your personal speech coach. Practice out loud, get a score after every take, and see exactly what to fix, so you speak with confidence when it counts: the interview, the pitch, the toast, the meeting.
Practice with purpose
Rehearse a presentation, a sales pitch, an interview answer, a toast or a story. Every day brings a new speaking prompt, from a set of 100 on stories, opinions, explanations, pitches and more.
A score after every take
Each recording gets a score out of 100, with ratings for eloquence, clarity, pausing, confidence, vocal variety and engagement. Short coaching notes, and what changed since your last take, show you what to work on next.
Track your filler words
See exactly how often you say um, uh, like, you know and other filler words, plus confidence killers such as "just", "kind of" and "I guess". Watch your count drop as you practice.
Monitor your pace
Speaking too fast? Too slow? MicBuddy shows your words per minute after every take, and whether you moved closer to a steady, easy-to-follow pace.
Watch your score climb
Your score trend, speaker level, daily streak and top filler words show how far you have come, session by session.
Private by design
Speech recognition and coaching run on your phone or tablet, not in the cloud. Your audio recordings stay on your device.
Practice before you scroll
An optional app lock keeps the apps you pick locked each day until today's warm-up is done, then they stay open until midnight. MicBuddy uses Android's Accessibility service only to see which app comes to the front, so it can show its lock screen. It never reads what's on your screen or what you type, and nothing is sent or shared.
