About this app

SILOÉ Piscinas is the free app from Nido R&D&I for professionally monitoring the water quality of your swimming pools from your mobile device. Record measurements at the pool itself, check at a glance if anything is out of range, and keep your analyses organized and ready for inspection, without loose papers or spreadsheets.

It uses the values ​​from Royal Decree 742/2013 (technical and sanitary criteria for swimming pools) as a reference to guide you on whether each parameter is within range. It is a support and traceability tool: it does not, on its own, guarantee legal compliance, which still depends on your monitoring and the health authority.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

💧 Water Quality Control
🔹 Manage multiple facilities, pools, and basins from a single platform.

🔹 Record measurements for each test: pH, free chlorine, combined chlorine, turbidity, water temperature, redox potential, bromine, cyanuric acid, and dissolved copper.

📏 Reference Ranges (RD 742/2013)
🔹 pH 7.2–8.0; free chlorine 0.5–2.0 mg/L; combined chlorine ≤0.6 mg/L; turbidity ≤5 NFU; temperature 24–30 °C; redox ≥250 mV, among others.

🔔 Alerts and Monitoring
🔹 Automatic alarms when a parameter falls outside the acceptable range, with a severity level (urgent or warning) to determine the first response.
