About this app

To access our app for efficient vehicle checks, it's essential to have an account. Request yours via https://walkroundcheck.com/contactpage.html, and we'll assist you promptly..

Walkaround Check has been designed to let drivers perform a vehicle check using an android device. The idea of this app is to reduce a company’s paper trail while giving company’s the option to print reports when they want them. By storing reports in the cloud, you are freeing up valuable storage room which can be used for other things.

Your drivers will fill in a report at the start of shift using an android device. They will be given the chance to select a specific type of vehicle i.e., an HGV or car. They will then answer a series of questions with Yes, No, NA, you will be able to view the report using the desktop software.

If your company has several different types of vehicles, you will be able to narrow reports by selecting a vehicle type. You can view reports in Excel or in the same fashion as you would read from a defect book. You can backup all reports in to Excel or you can back up a specific driver report.

The desktop software will let you view images a driver has sent of a defect and save them to your own personal storage device.

Its possible your driver will get a defect before the shift finishes. If this happens, they can login to the app, select the type of vehicle and press the update defect button. This will allow them to send a message to the server. The desktop software will pick up on this message and become highlighted. The idea was to save the driver time so they do not have to fill out another report. The message when they send it will show the drivers name, registration, date, time and a trailer number if applicable.

The service section of the desktop software will allow a company to record a date for MOT, Service next to either a registration plate or trailer number.
