RefundHound is a refund tracker for the returns you've already sent back. Log the refund, set the date the merchant promised, and get reminded the moment it's late.
Sent something back and never saw the money? Refunds slip through the cracks because nobody is keeping score — the return goes out, the promised date passes quietly, and weeks later you've forgotten the amount, the date, and who to chase. RefundHound keeps score for you.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Log the refund — merchant, amount, and the date they promised
2. Get a reminder when that date arrives: did the money land?
3. Tap "Got it" and the refund closes. Tap "Not yet" and RefundHound keeps chasing.
IT ESCALATES SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO
An ordinary reminder app nags you with the same message forever. RefundHound changes its advice as a refund ages:
• First — check your account, the promised window has passed
• Then — time to contact support, with a ready-to-send message you copy in one tap
• Then — if you paid by card, here's how disputing the charge works
• Finally — keep waiting, or write it off and move on?
Reminders arrive every three days and stop after six. It chases the merchant, not you.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MAKE THE CASE
• Attach a receipt photo from your camera or gallery
• Record the refund method — card, PayPal, store credit, bank transfer or other
• Add a note for the order number or the agent who promised it
• Copy a pre-written support message with the exact dates and amount filled in
• Full ISO currency support, from USD and EUR to JPY, SEK and KWD
SEE WHAT YOU'VE RECOVERED
A running total of every refund that actually landed, plus counts of what arrived and what you wrote off. Searchable history of every closed refund. Export the lot to CSV whenever you like — and import it back on a new phone.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-up, no server. Every refund, note and receipt photo lives in a database on your phone and nowhere else. No ads, no trackers, no analytics. Cloud backup is deliberately switched off, because receipt photos are personal — CSV export is how you move your data, and you control it.
