Public information on the bathing waters quality monitoring programme of the Region of Crete, in accordance with Directive 2006/7/EC
The application in which you will navigate was carried out by the Water Directorate of the Decentralized Administration of Crete, so that every citizen or visitor of the island can find information about:
• the quality of bathing water off the coast of Crete,
• the basic characteristics of the coasts,
• accessibility and visitor service infrastructure,
• pressures that may affect water quality,
• legislation adopted by the European Union for the protection of citizens during the bathing season,
• the competent services to which every citizen can turn in cases of pollution - contamination of the coast.
The application is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Operational Program "Crete 2014-2020"
