About this app

AICheck helps you scan photos and videos for signs that media may be AI-generated.

Open the app to scan from Photos, take a new photo with the camera, paste an image from your clipboard, or use the Android share sheet. AICheck runs its check on device and shows a simple AI / Real / Unsure verdict with a confidence score, recent scan history, shareable verdicts, and a configurable confidence threshold.

AICheck is a media-analysis tool, not an identity, medical, legal, or forensic verification service. Results are estimates and should be treated as one signal, not proof.

AICheck does not implement an AccessibilityService. Some references to AccessibilityServiceInfo API in the app come from the Jetpack Compose Material 3 library, which uses these APIs internally to adapt component state when accessibility tools, such as TalkBack, are enabled. AICheck does not query, control, or otherwise use accessibility services beyond what the Compose framework provides automatically.

What’s new

AICheck v2.1.4 adds daily free scan limits and Google Play Pro upgrade support. Content Credentials verification and consent-based cloud image analysis remain available.
