About this app

Ekadashi is a beautifully simple companion for observing the Ekadashi vrat. It calculates precise, sunrise-based (Udaya-tithi) Ekadashi dates and exact Parana (fast-breaking) timings for your exact location — so you always know when to begin your fast and when to break it.

Unlike generic calendars, Ekadashi computes every tithi astronomically from your GPS location, giving you timings tailored to your city rather than a fixed regional list. It works fully offline once set up — no account, no sign-in, no ads.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

• Accurate, location-aware timings
Ekadashi dates are resolved using the traditional Udaya-tithi (sunrise) rule and a high-precision astronomical engine, calculated for your precise latitude and longitude.

• Exact Parana window
Never miss the correct time to break your fast. The app shows the precise Parana window the following morning, based on Dwadashi and sunrise at your location.

• Choose your tradition
Switch between Smarta and Vaishnava observance to match your family or sampradaya's practice.

• Smart reminders
Get gentle notifications before each Ekadashi, on the morning of the fast, and for your Parana window — at a reminder time you choose.

• Full calendar view
Browse upcoming and past Ekadashis at a glance, with names and dates for the whole year.

• Fasting tracker
Keep a record of the fasts you've observed and stay consistent in your practice.

• Works offline
All calculations happen on your device. No internet required after setup.

• Clean, distraction-free design
A calm interface with light and dark themes, made to be opened quickly and put away.

• Free, with no ads
Ekadashi is completely free and ad-free. If you find it useful, optional one-time tips and a monthly supporter option help keep it maintained — but every feature is available to everyone, always.

ABOUT EKADASHI

Ekadashi falls on the eleventh lunar day (tithi) of each fortnight in the Hindu lunar calendar — twice a month. Many devotees observe a fast on this day for spiritual discipline and devotion, breaking it during the Parana window the next morning. Because the correct day and Parana time depend on sunrise and the precise moment the tithi begins and ends at your location, accurate calculation matters. Ekadashi takes care of this for you.

Download Ekadashi and observe your vrat with confidence and clarity.
