Absolutely amazing, it let's you know what the cipher does, when it was used, etc. And even lets you play with it so you can experience what the ciphers do and how they work. It also lets you use tools and gives you different information on things like sign language, Braille, etc. 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in cryptography and other things like it.

I like these longer detailed ratings a lot, thanks for taking your time to write one!

Although the app itself is as described, I found that the claim about not collecting data is false. I have another app that blocks tracking, and it showed that this app was the worst in that respect out of all the apps I have; several thousand attempts to track in one day, vs a couple of hundred for two or three other apps, and none for all my other apps. Needless to say, as soon as I saw this I uninstalled it immediately.

Update so that other readers know too: after couple of emails outcome is that this is caused by ads and app used to find tracking details was DuckDuckGo's app tracking protection feature. My app safety form is wrong which is now being updated to count in advertising based tracking.

So so broken...basicly an advert feed. You can expect an ad about every two clicks. The rundown is this-- an interface with links to Wikipedia, or YouTube, for each encryption type...and an rudimentary and unfriendly interface that implements publicly available source code that you can clone off of github.
