About this app

nive is a calm place, made of sound. Layer rain, forest, ocean, fire and soft noise into a soundscape that is yours, then let it fade gently to silence as you fall asleep.

MIX YOUR OWN SOUNDSCAPE
- Choose up to six sounds and play them together
- Slide each sound softer or louder until the balance feels right
- Place every sound on your left, right, in the centre or all around you
- Decide how often birds call, fire crackles or thunder rolls
- Save your mixes to your Library and come back to them any night

Rain on a window, heavy downpours, distant thunder, ocean waves, a calm shore, waterfalls, forest mornings, dawn birdsong, summer crickets, mountain wind, a crackling fireplace, white, pink and brown noise, a desk fan, a quiet café, singing bowls, soft piano and wind chimes. Every sound loops seamlessly, so there is never a jarring restart.

SLEEP MODE THAT FADES, NEVER CUTS
A sudden stop is what wakes you. Sleep Mode lowers the volume a tiny amount every minute until the room is silent, then stops playback to save your battery.
- Fade over 30 minutes to 8 hours
- Choose a steady fade, or a late fade that holds the volume before easing out
- Add 15 more minutes with one tap
