About this app

The Kestrel LiNK® Ballistics App gives you the ability to manage key features and functions of your connected Kestrel Ballistics device to maximize convenience and boost your shooting performance.

Quickly and easily create, upload, download, and store gun profiles and access the Applied Ballistics and Hornady libraries of lab-tested bullet parameters and profiles for use in your Kestrel Ballistics Meter using the Gun Profile Manager(1). Place your Kestrel in the vane mount on a tripod (sold separately) to view solutions remotely from your shooting position on your mobile device using Single Target Mode. Create and send up to 10 custom targets to your Kestrel or export a printable range card using Target Card Mode(2).

The Kestrel LiNK Ballistics app also allows you to easily update the firmware in any LiNK-enabled Kestrel Ballistics meter or HUD so you always have the latest features and improvements.

Kestrel 5700 Ballistics Weather Meters with Hornady 4DOF can access Hornady G1 & G7 BCs and Hornady Bullet Files.

latest version of the phone app (Samsung) cuts off the top options when selecting bullet manufacturer, bullet dia etc. I cannot create a profile for any Barnes bullets currently.... edit: this was fixed in a reasonable time. Thanks!

it was working fine untill the last updat.. it was freezed up to 99% the i had to restart the app and the phone.. i got stuck in old version on my 5700X.. and also there is no option to upgrade it to wez in the app.. i hope i get an answer

Update: Changed rating from 3 to 5 stars. I contacted technical support after posting my original review and they were able to find the source of the bug, updated the app, and now it works fine! Original review: The app is good for setting up the gun profile and transferring it to the device, but the compass calibration and MV calibration options do not work. Any time I select either of these, the app crashes. I haven't been able to find a way to correct this.

Adds the ability to save and restore gun profiles in a local snapshot. This is saved locally to your device and will be lost if the app is deleted.
